The Trellis Sweater is made in Ireland using a wool cashmere yarn. This sweater features all-over trellis cabling to the front, but is plain knit on the sleeves and the back, making for a much lighter sweater that still has impact. The Trellis is designed to flatter a woman's figure, with a considered fit and sitting just above the top of the thigh. Hand wash in lukewarm water, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, dry flat, reshape while damp, use a warm iron and store folded in a cool, dry place. Founded in Dublin in 1988, IrelandsEye Knitwear is a family-run company making knitwear for over 30 years. Inspired by the Irish landscape and the colours of nature, they combine a traditional Irish knitwear heritage with their own unique twist. Designed and made in Dublin, each piece is crafted using 100% natural yarn, carefully finished by hand.
While our sweaters are a great choice, because they are warm and durable, proper care should be always taken to protect your garment. We recommend all of our sweaters and wool garments are gently hand washed with a mild wool detergent, reshaped by hand and dried flat. If soaked for too long, the wool may shrink and become hard.
Alternatively, most of our sweaters can also be dry cleaned but always check the care label first. Under no circumstances should you machine wash or tumble dry your sweater or any other wool product. Remember, when you give your sweater great care, it will last you for a long time.
